Q. I have a dark pink carpet which I am unable to change. I am a 16 year old girl and I am planning to redecorate my room however I'm not sure what to do as in colours? I was think maybe brown curtains? I'm not sure, any ideas would be much appreciated, thanks
A. I have heard it said many times from decorators, "If you can't change it - embrace it!" So, I would suggest that you find fabric (that has your same, or similar, dark pink in it) in a design/pattern that you really like. Then take colors from that to spread around your room.

A. You need to pick your bedding before your paint colors.
It is easier to match paint to bedding than bedding to paint.
